I saw this a while ago. If my memory serves me correctly, she posted this as a response to Joy's Fat Rant (or maybe some of the comments on there).

Anonymous: I don't like the "I'm more fat then her so I have it worse" game. Everyone's pain is subjective and there will always be someone who is worse off than I am. Yes she's beautiful. A lot of the atosphere bloggers are thinner and prettier than I am. It doesn't change the fact that they experience hate, either as much or more than I do because of where they live or who they have to deal with on a daily basis. It doesn't mean that she doesn't have to work to not take nasty comments personally. We're all in it together. Even if a thin person puts out a call for civility and acceptance of fat people, we should applaud it because that call is for us. I think the message is sound irregardless of the messenger.
